The moments captured in the photographs introduce a symbiosis of materials that creates endless worlds to enter, play in, and co-exist within. The artist describes the hands as invoking connections and a feeling of community, of caring and being cared for. The work invites the viewer to reflect on togetherness and the concept of play and its rules, roles and agencies. The series consists of seven photographs that are displayed around the school building. The multipart commission will be accessioned to the City of Helsinki’s art collection, which is managed by HAM.
